Boardworks East Coast Team rider, Doug Ellis, does well in his first ever Cal race!
East coast Boardworks team member, Doug Ellis, came to Cal for the Hennessey's finals and Battle of the Paddle. Doug qualified for the Hennessey's finals in the 14' class by winning the Dominion River Rock race this summer. He took a respectable 13th on a production 14' M&M at the Hennessey's finishing around the likes of Alfredo Stalla, Ernie Johnson, Dan Gavere, Jay Wild to name a few.
He has been successful in many races on the east coast and we are excited to have him here to further his experience in SUP racing. As well as being a great waterman and racer, Doug is one of the nicest guys you will ever meet!

Anthony Vela had a huge weekend!
Anthony Vela had a huge weekend! He took forth in the Hennessey's finals, and he took first in the Victory Surf Sprint at Huntington edging out Jamie Mitchell, (on a production M&M 12'6"!).
A great way to go into the Battle of the Paddle week.
Way to go AV!!! We are so proud of you.

New M&M production boards just in.
The long awaited M&M 12'6" and 14" production race boards have arrived. Weight on the 12'6" is 24 lbs without fin and pad, 26 lbs on the 14' without fin and pad. Boards come with a one piece deckpad. Fins are not included as there are a wide range of fin types and applications for this type of board.
